Guest Reviews

Feedback from guests who stayed in this room.

"The time we spent around the bonfire as a family was amazing. The kids loved running around on the wooden deck. Having a shower and toilet inside made it easy with small children. We also enjoyed watching movies on the projector — never a dull moment even on rainy days."

"We were moved by the view of Mt. Yotei in winter from our window. The heating worked perfectly — cozy inside even when it was below freezing outside. At night, we sipped hot cocoa by the bonfire while gazing at the stars."

"It was great being able to cook with local ingredients in the mini kitchen. The vegetables from Makkari Village were so fresh — our camp meals were next level. Next time, we want to stay longer and enjoy the local activities too."

"rental facilities are clean, so even beginners can easily enjoy Mt. Yotei location camping. It is located between Niseko and Rusutsu, so it is highly recommended for those who are staying at a hotel but also want to go camping. If there is a washing machine in the campsite, it might be good to stay for consecutive nights. There is no laundry in Makkari Village, so if you want to have a barbecue, it's good to be prepared to change your clothes."

"Everything was fully equipped, so we could come empty-handed with no worries. The facilities were spotless, and the heating was so good that we relaxed like in a luxury hotel despite it being winter camping. The bonfire was a highlight even for a beginner like me. The deep snow scenery felt like being in a foreign country, and Mt. Yotei glowing in the sunset was breathtaking. I visited with my mother, an outdoor novice, and she was thrilled. I've tried other glamping facilities, but this one is by far the best — I can't wait to return in every season."

"Winter camping with a 2-year-old seemed daunting, but the cottage was warm, clean, and perfect for warming up after playing in the snow. The BBQ and bonfire surrounded by a snowy wonderland were incredible — all set up and ready to enjoy thanks to the owner's attention to detail. The grounds were safe for our son's first snow play experience, and he was absolutely thrilled. The owner's hospitality made everything worry-free, even for families new to camping."

"This was our second visit — a snowboarding trip with work friends. After a full day riding in Niseko, we hit the nearby onsen, then had a blast grilling meat at the BBQ house. The room was well heated and comfortable, and we capped the night with a gaming session on the projector. It's the perfect base for a ski/snowboard group trip — we'll definitely be back next season!"

"Staying close to nature in winter was a wonderful experience for us and the kids. We arrived on a heavy snow day, but the friendly staff cleared the snow so we could move our car smoothly at checkout — that really made a difference."
